Do One Thing Every Day That Makes You Happy.

Take time for happiness!

It’s an icy rainy day.

I’m going to make cocoa from scratch; and, we’re going to curl up in the living room and read aloud.  Right now we’re reading The Sign of the Beaver by Elizabeth George Spears.  My husband is also reading Darien’s Rise to us.  It was written by Paul McCusker.  Reading aloud is one of the best parts of being a parent.  My kids love it.  They’re all voracious readers.  My youngest is 6 and still learning to read.  She’s a voracious reader wannabe!

Think about it, what’s something that will make you happy today?  Take a few minutes and enjoy.  Our lives are a gift from God; unwrap and enjoy!

God bless!

  1. I’m iced in today and making good use of it by doing some sewing and crafting, catching up on letters and will make some homemade pizza for dinner! Stay safe and warm friend!!
