Thankful Thursday….
This is my first Thankful Thursday post. It seems a good thing to record things for which we are thankful. A few years ago, when all looked bleak, I started a thankful journal. I had to. It was during a time when there was so much bad in my life, that I had to find those good things to thank the Lord for or I’d not have made it.
So, here we go….
Philippians 4:6 is a life verse for me.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Things for which I am thankful this Thursday…
my marriage is permanent, no matter what…
clean air to breath…
I have hope in my Jesus for all my troubles…
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me…
I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus…
my children are healthy…
my husband has found some temporary work…
God is in control…
It’s going to be alright….
Those are my thoughts, I thank you my Creator God for all of these things.

Welcome to the Thankful Thursday “bunch”…you are right – when the times are not so good, it is important to record the blessings. I too agree that He is our source of strength. Philippians 4:13 is my life verse

Welcome! Great list. I love participating in Thankful Thursday. Seems no matter what my week looks like or has been there are always so many things for which I can give God praise! Thanks for sharing your thankful heart with us. I really like what you said about your marriage. I believe it. My hubby and I in 1999 split up and were divorced for 1.5 yrs BUT GOD…..He had a plan and His word says what God has put together let none put asunder! He made a way for us when there seemed to be no way. In August of 2002 we remarried and shortly after moved back to MS. It’s not been all a bed of roses since but we both have the attitude of “My marriage is permanent….No Matter what.” I am thankful for that! Thanks for the reminder.
