I’m reading a delightful book right now called Overjoyed by Patsy Clairmont, Barbara Johnson, Marilyn Meberg, Luci Swindoll, Sheila Walsh, and Thelma Wells. It’s full of fun encouragement. Here’s a quote from the chapter A Heart-y Ha, Ha, Ha! by Barbara Johnson.
“But, according to my calculations, reality is this very second. You see, yesterday is only a memory, and tomorrow is merely a dream. Today is an illusion. That leaves one second. Every day you have 86,400 seconds. But they come only one at a time. In your bank account of time, no balance is carried over until the next day. You use those seconds or lose them. There is no chance to reinvest.
Make your investment wisely by believing you deserve to be full of joy this very second. And you can be. Decide to be.”
I’m going to meditate on this thought today this second.
God bless you, dear reader!
